Land Rover Defender 90 Limited Edition
has been released in South Africa and is called Defender Black.
Although it is available in a variety of colours. This comes after
the moving of all Defender production back to the UK since the
beginning of 2006. This limited edition Defender 90 is packed with
extras and only available from selected dealers.
The limited edition vehicle is more up
market, but the Defender is still available in various guises in
South Africa. It is one of the few if not the only country where
the Defender is still available with a Tdi engine. Called a
Defender 110 Station Wagon, this utilitarian model is fitted with
the Tdi engine and only the basics in terms of the interior.
The Defender limited edition on the
other hand uses the newer TD5 engine and has a few added luxuries
and a long list of extras.
