Land Rover Series 3 Restoration  Other your Land Rovers  Part 1 : Part 2 : Part 3

Vic Walker and my home is Winklespruit in Natal

Attached some pictures of a rather down and out Series 3 Shorty open top, restored to its former glory but now in a station wagon mode. When I bought it I put the pick up top on so that I could drive it from Lance Walton’s QTH to Durban.

All the work has been carried out by VG AUTO CLINIC in St Winefreds near Winklespruit in Natal.

Complete body makeover including painting, wagon parts fitted, steering and shocks done, inside redone and new wiring harness imported from the UK, Auto Sparks. (Very well made)

Last and final step, complete engine and gearbox overhaul planned for December. Will go for the upgraded head, camshaft and exhaust system etc for the motor and also an electric fan. Hopefully all the work will be done by VG Auto Clinic as well.
