An Archive for Fanatics of Land Rovers
Land Rover Series 2 was the the first upgrade to the original Land Rover Series 1. The body shape specifically was a significant change and created the iconic Land Rover shape that most people are now familiar with and was to remain largely unchanged right up until the last Defender production in 2016. The other changes were also quite an improvement to the comfort, interior and the general mechanics, including the drivetrain and engines. The series 2 was still very solid and utilitarian with their full metal interiors with very little to no plastic and upholstery at all.
