This is an Overland Expedition around
the world in a modified Land Rover Forward Control OVERLANDER.
Jan and Leone Vorster keep a travel diaries of their overland expedition

"In
2013 we plan to travel for 4 months, instead of our usual 6. The
reason is the Schengen visa problem that all non-EU citizens
have: one may not stay in the Shengen region for longer than 90 days
per 180 day period. This means that after 90 days you must go out of
the Schengen area for 90 days before being allowed to return! So we
plan to spend at least one month in the Balkan countries; the only
corner of Europe which is not Schengen."
